Whether you are a hunter, a wildlife enthusiast, or simply travel I-5 regularly, our Wildlife Crossing is designed to improve your experience and outcomes.

• There are many reasons wildlife crosses the highway, and the end result is often dead animals, damaged vehicles, and injured motorists.
• Research and experience shows we can't stop the animals from following their instincts to cross the highway.
• We can make it safer for everyone, human and animal.
• Purpose-built crossing structures have proven to reduce the incidence of wildlife vs. motorist collisions on roadways.

As the Shasta-Trinity Wildlife Group, we're working to protect, connect and restore habitat in the I-5 corridor from Shasta Reservoir to the Oregon border! Our efforts will reconnect Northern California's wildlife habitats by establishing safe wildlife crossings over I-5, and will reduce vehicle/animal collisions.
